Who We Are
SOALDEA, S.L. was established in 1985 with the aim of specialising in the wholesale trade of potatoes, vegetables, fresh legumes, fruits and vegetables. Since its inception, we have operated from stand nº18 in warehouse A in Mercalaspalmas, maintaining a solid presence for more than 39 years.
Strategic Location
Located in the heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, MERCALASPALMAS enjoys a strategic location next to the GC-1 motorway and the GC-3 ring road. Just 7 km from the city and 10 minutes from the port, airport and main consumer areas, our location allows us a quick and efficient connection with the main markets in the region.
Our Role in Mercalaspalmas
At SOALDEA, we play an active role in Mercalaspalmas, both in the supply and demand of products. Our presence in San Nicolás de Tolentino, where we operate a fruit shop, allows us to connect numerous small local producers with the market, offering a wide variety of fresh products. In addition to marketing local products, we import potatoes, onions, garlic and other products necessary to meet market demand.
Our facilities
We have modern facilities of 100 square metres, which include offices and toilets on the upper floor, and a large cold storage room on the ground floor. The General Directorate of Public Health supervises the sanitary status of our facilities, which have the General Sanitary Registry of Foods, identification number 40.15717/GC. Our team is made up of 17 qualified professionals, including managers, administrators, delivery people, shop assistants and cleaning staff.

With almost 40 years of experience in the sector, SOALDEA has become a benchmark in the sale of fruit and vegetables. We serve both small clients and large consumers, including ship and cruise ship suppliers. In addition, we offer a specialized service for the restaurant sector, working with renowned restaurants and prestigious hotels.

Our Fleet
We have a fleet of ten commercial vehicles, equipped and certified for the transport of fruit and vegetables, with health reports issued by the General Directorate of Public Health and all MOT inspections up to date.
Expanding Projects
With the recent award, SOALDEA, S.L. is expanding its facilities, including a new cold storage room measuring 5×5 metres and 3 metres high, as well as an improved security system with new cameras and a larger storage and distribution area.
